Cow print is far superior in fashion

This is in no way a smear piece on any other animal prints (unless they are made from actual animal hide, and that is an entire argument on its own), but rather a justification of why cow print is far superior. Animal print, whether you choose to accept it or not, has made a comeback.

After being a staple every ten years or so, cheetah and leopard print (yes, there is a difference), as well as zebra and cow (which I will get to later), is no longer considered cheugy (in moderation that is). Defined, cheugy is something that is considered uncool or out of style from specifically the 2010s. Now, everyone is entitled to their opinions, including my roommate Mara, who is team cheetah print which is slightly disappointing considering my love for cow print.

For me, cow print never went out of style. I do not want to say it is one of my only personality traits, but it definitely plays a huge factor in the type of person I am. Any picture of me from my early years is me in some sort of cow print outfit, and I will admit to having a cow-themed birthday party when I was in primary school. But that does not even begin to scratch the surface of my appreciation of the print itself.

Firstly, the color scheme of black and white is iconic and beyond reproach. Yes, I know. Zebra print is also black and white, but the shape of the print keeps me from liking it. Zebra print lacks the charm of cow print, and it also lacks the possibility of being both saucy and reserved.

Cow print goes with everything- blue jeans, black jeans, corduroy, faux leather- the options are endless. You can wear it in the summer (you already know I have a cow print swimsuit), you can wear it in the fall (in my case for Halloween), and you can most definitely wear it in the form of ugg slippers in the winter (they are currently on backorder and yes I am upset about it). It looks great on every complexion and with every hair color.

Secondly, it always produces the most compliments. It is like people have forgotten about it. Cow print is so underrated that every time I wear it, I always get the most compliments. It adds a little something to every outfit. I have a cow print water bottle, purse, and scrunchie that always makes my outfit better.

The end all be all is that cow print has reigned supreme. It has timelessly survived the test of time, from cowboys to TikTok celebrities. It is beloved by not only me but many. So please, email me about your favorite print. I am looking to prove someone wrong. No, I am seriously kidding, kind of, but please email me so we can chat!
