Pumpkinville has officially opened for the season and there are daily visitors coming to the farm to enjoy the attractions.
Pumpkinville opened for the season on Sept. 11 and will remain open until Oct. 31. It is open seven days a week and it is a very kid-friendly place. However, no pets are allowed on the farm.

When visitors enter, the sound of apple blasters can be heard against the backdrop of the colorful mountains.

Parking and the general admission to the farm is free. With general admission, Pumpkinville visitors can enjoy the apple cider mill. Apple cider is made in a large press and it can be enjoyed hot or cold. Visitors are able to take home as much as a gallon of apple cider.

Pumpkinville also has a variety of shops for customers. There is a maple shack where visitors can find just about anything maple flavored from mustards to sugar and other spices. A cozy boutique gift shop includes fall-themed souvenirs and decor for customers to take home.

On the 200-acre farm there are home-grown pumpkins, squash, corn and gourds for customers to buy. There are more than three rows of different sized pumpkins for customers to choose from.

There are shops that sell freshly made kettle corn and barbeque chicken.
Near the apple cider mill is a little house for goats and chickens. It is three stories tall and oftentimes people can find goats and chickens sleeping inside, going up and down the boards or walking around their fenced area.

Visitors are allowed to feed the goats and other farm animals. There are feeding stations around the farm that cost 25 cents each. Visitors can hold a handle of food to give to the animals whenever they would like. There are also hand washing stations around the farm because it is important to wash hands after touching and feeding the animals.

The farm animals available for feeding besides the goats and chickens include a pony, sheep, turkeys, pigs and a donkey.
However, they are in an area of the park where visitors do have to pay to get in. Visitors can buy tickets online or at the ticket booth where they will receive a stamp for entry.

Beyond the ticket booth are the stalls to feed the sheep, turkeys and pigs. In this area are also kid-friendly activities.

Things for kids to do include a jump pillow and a Merry-Go-Round. Parents and kids can also mine for gems and there is a cow train for the kids too. Fun little see-saws are in this area as well. The corn maze in this area is in the shape of the news channel, WGRZ. There is a little field of flowers right next to the maze where more pumpkins can be found as well as colorful zinnias.

There is a hayride that takes about 10-15 minutes where visitors can see the carefully hidden monsters and a beautiful field of sunflowers. Visit Pumpkinville to spend some quality time with family and enjoy everything the farm has to offer.
