The past couple of weeks have been surprisingly warm, but do we really mind? We are pushing off 2017’s fall fashion trends and saving them for a later date.

Instead of putting on warm cozy colors, we are still strutting around rocking the latest color trends of spring and summer. Platform sandals are an example of one summer trend that has started to reappear.

Some may have chosen to incorporate a few fall trends into this season mix up, but why not drag out summer fashion for as long as we can?

Shorts of all styles, fabrics and textures are still being worn. T-shirt dresses and jean skirts are the perfect pieces to dress up a comfy look for class.

When summer and spring come around again, so do new styles. As these styles are being introduced to us for the first time, they may sound odd and seem out of the ordinary.

We learn to love and appreciate new trends because we realize how great it looks once we see it worn on someone. Soon, we are rocking the latest trend all summer long.

Something that became really popular in street style, that could have come off as unappealing at first, was the destroyed mom jeans, funky socks to match your personality and your choice of skater sneaker look.

This outfit trend is unbelievably cute and fashionable. It is perfect for summer nights. Once the colder days hit, this look will become less lively and have a much duller appearance.

The recent warm weather has allowed us to keep liveliness in our style. It may just be me, but fall fashion almost feels like the welcoming of a long, dark time of the year.

When summer weather ends and fall weather starts, we are right back to a world of plaid shirts, dark blue jeans, riding boots, scarves and vests. It’s as if fall fashion stays the same year after year, stuck in rotation.

A couple fashion seasons ago, fall was a little repetitive here decided to pick up fur vests, but that went out of style quickly. Will we see this return for fall 2017?

If the weather continues to feel like summer, wear a colorful summer blouse with a jean skirt, or throw on slides and jean shorts to go for a no-effort look. Summer is filled with so many different styles and trends – take advantage of the unusual weather because it won’t be here for long.

The heat wave is most likely coming to an end. The leaves are changing color around us and so will the weather. Don’t let this season become just another fall season of flannel shirts and scarves. It’s time for a change.

This fall, continue wearing boots and long-sleeve dresses, but bring the light colors of spring and summer with you. Fashion trends everywhere have begun using much more vibrant colors that you may not always see in fall fashion.

Floral patterns and lace accents have been seen a lot in 2017’s fall fashion trends. These are usually thought to be worn in warmer weather. As for white, it doesn’t seem to be going out of style just yet. White has appeared in many of the showings for fall designs.

Take advantage of the fashion opportunities for this warm weather, but when fall finally arrives, mix up your fall fashion with something new this season.
