Fans of “Euphoria,” the popular HBO series, may know Dominic Fike as Elliot from season two of the show. Viewers may not know Fike’s roots as a singer-songwriter.

The 26-year-old artist is from Naples, Florida and has experience working with musicians such as Justin Bieber and Paul McCartney. He has a very unique style and switches from alternative indie music to rap rock throughout his album and EP.

The song “3 Nights” was all over the radio back around October 2019. Many “Euphoria” watchers were probably singing along to this song and may not have made the connection that Fike was the singer when he appeared on the show. “3 Nights” is more of a pop song, but Fike is known for his rapping and grunge vocals.

“Phone Numbers” is another one of Fike’s popular songs. It is a single created with Kenny Beats in 2019. The song is featured on the FIFA 20 soundtrack, and it has a very catchy beat.

The artist has an EP and an album. “3 Nights” was included on Fike’s 2018 EP, “Don’t Forget About Me, Demos.” The EP was rushed and released when Fike was in jail. According to Complex, “He had recorded the 6-track collection while he was on house arrest, then 21 years old and charged with battery of a police officer.” Despite the singer’s rough past, he has worked to become better and focus on his career.

“What Could Possibly Go Wrong” is Fike’s debut album which was released in July 2020. “Chicken Tenders,” “Vampire” and “Politics and Violence” are popular songs on the album. This album has a range of different messages, tones and sounds. Each song is unique but they still make a cohesive album.

Fike has also worked with Paul McCartney on his 2021 album, “McCartney III Imagined.” Fike did a remake of McCartney’s “The Kiss of Venus” from his 2020 album “McCartney III.” In the reimagined version of the song, Fike does all of the vocals. Some of the lyrics are different from the original, and Fike adds a play on words to some of the verses. The instrumentals of the new song have more of a pop sound, but they are still pretty gentle like the original, so Fike’s vocals are not overpowered.

The singer has also been featured on Justin Bieber’s latest album, “Justice.” Fike sang with Bieber on “Die for You.”

Fike has experience acting in his music videos and occasional appearances in other music videos. But he did not have acting experience before landing the role on “Euphoria.” Fike told Insider, “[The cast] really helped so much. I couldn’t have done it without them. I didn’t take any lessons on it, so I really just relied on watching them the entire time.”

Fike’s role on “Euphoria” is his acting debut. He spoke with Variety for an interview and shared that acting as Elliot came pretty naturally to him. Fike said he related to his character, Elliot. He feels pretty similar to the character and believes they would do the same things and say the same things.

While viewers are waiting for more episodes of “Euphoria” to be released, they can spend time listening to Fike’s music.
