The St. Bonaventure University women’s basketball team looks to keep its perfect season intact against the University at Albany, SUNY, Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. in the Reilly Center.
Bonaventure will honor the 1986-87 and 2015-16 women’s basketball teams during halftime.
The 1986-87 team marked the program’s first season in Division I. The 2015-16 team celebrates the 10th anniversary of its at-large NCAA Tournament bid. They advanced to the second round.
A postgame reception in the St. Bonaventure Athletics Hall of Fame will be open to the public.
Bonaventure enters the matchup 5-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season after a 64-57 home win over the University at Buffalo on Wednesday night.
Coming off a 67-42 home win over Siena University Wednesday, Albany enters the matchup 3-2.
Graduate guards Laycee Drake and Aaliyah Parker rank seventh and 19th in the Atlantic 10 with 17.8 and 12 points per game, respectively. Freshman forward Amaya Stewart leads the Great Danes with 14.
