St. Bonaventure, N.Y.— The St. Bonaventure women’s soccer team faces Duquesne Sunday at the Marra Athletics Field Complex.

The Bonnies (3-5-2 overall, 2-0-1 A-10) will face the Dukes (4-5-2 overall, 1-0-2 A-10) after coming home from a win against Fordham on Thursday. The victory over the Rams moves the Bonnies to third in the A-10 standings.

“The team feels good,” said Bonaventure head coach Donny George. “They are coming to play us on our home turf so we are ready and we will be ready. We are expecting a tough competition.”

The Dukes also won their game on Thursday against Rhode Island 1-0.

The Dukes have a higher average of shots taken per game; 12 while the Bonnies take 7.

Duquesne is currently sixth in the A-10 standings, but are eighth in total points while the Bonnies are ninth.

Sunday’s game will be taking place during Family Weekend on St. Bonaventure’s campus. George says that he wants this game to represent who the team is.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m, with the match being streamed live on ESPN+.
