St. Bonaventure University is truly a great place to be during fall, with gorgeous changing leaves and mountainous background. But, fall does not last forever so soaking up all that fall has to offer around campus is key to enjoying the season as a student here. So, here are a few ways to make the most of your fall while at Bona’s.

If you have not taken a walk on the river trail recently, you need to. The path is surrounded by all the beautiful fall colors with the river to back the perfect fall scene. It is a great way to relax and feel like you are in a completely new place but you can also snap a few fall pictures to send along to friends and family. Plus the crunching of leaves under your feet is a great feeling too.

While the weather is continuing to get colder, it is a great time to head over to Cafe La Verna, grab your favorite Starbucks drink, and watch the world go by for a little bit. Watching the leaves fall, admiring the trees, and getting some people watching in all while sipping on your favorite drink is a great way to take time for yourself in the midst of a busy week.

Being on the lookout for fall events on campus is a great way to get your friends involved in the fall fun too. It can be hard to continue the fall traditions you do at home with friends and family here at school but doing on-campus events is a great way to spend time with your friends and to meet new people. Be sure to keep a lookout on the Notice Board for fall events being offered on campus.

Fall is a great time to eat all things pumpkin and apple flavored. Going and picking up some fall treats for your friends is a great way to have a fun night in and savor the tastes of fall. Adding in some

Halloween-themed movies only adds to the fun and time of year. If Halloween is not really your thing YouTube has lots of different fireplaces or cozy fall backgrounds you can play on your TV while you talk or play games.

If you are looking for something to go do on the weekend then Pumpkinville in Ellicottville is a great place to go to have some fall fun. You can get pumpkins, take pictures with friends, take a hayride, get some fall treats, drink apple cider and explore Ellicottville afterward. Pumpkinville is only open until Halloween day so time is running out to cash in on all the fall fun that they have to offer.

No matter what you decide to do this fall make sure to take advantage of all that Bonas has to offer in the fall. It is the perfect place to be in the fall with the great foliage and all the opportunities to spend time with friends doing fall activities that give you a little break from being a busy student.
