Celebrities strut their stuff on the red carpet

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, hosted by Alicia Keys. The red carpet is known for the most extravagant, beautiful and elegant gowns worn by the top names in music.
Artists walked the red carpet like Lady Gaga, J-Lo, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes, Post Malone and many other artists that are performing or up for an award.
Alicia Keys, being the host, had many outfit changes. However, what she wore walking the red carpet was to die for. She wore a fitted red dress with a deep V and accenting buttons going down the front. So simple and chic, yet she made a statement.
Bebe Rexha also braved the red. She showed up in a gorgeous red dress designed by Monsoori. This was definitely a Cinderella dress with tulle layers, a deep V and kept accessories simple with a diamond necklace and statement earrings. Bebe Rexha was told by many designers that she can’t wear their dresses because she was not a size 0-2. She 100 percent made those designers wish they never said that while she owned the red carpet.
Lady Gaga showed up in a gown designed by Celine. It was a stunning, silver dress with a high slit up the leg and a giant ruffle going down the side. Gaga is known for the crazy exotic looks for the Grammy’s. Seeing her in a classic dress made more of a statement than her previous meat-themed dress.
Dua Lipa was also absolutely breathtaking with a silver dress designed by Atelier Versace. The dress was fitted with a sweetheart neckline and a long train to follow. The accessories were kept very simple with rings and a diamond bib necklace. Taking home best new artist and her amazing performance, Dua Lipa was for sure the star of the awards.
Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo) had a different approach with her choice. She went with a light green dress designed by Ralph & Russo. The dress was a high neck with beautiful jewels embellished, keeping other accessories simple with a hat that matched the dress color and the jewels. Alex Rodriguez complemented J-Lo with the pink suit with hits of green. They could’ve taken home the award for power couple on the carpet.
Kylie Jenner, of course, had to make an appearance on the red carpet with her man, Travis Scott. Kylie was in a baby-pink jumpsuit designed by Balmain Couture. The jumpsuit was a different approach to the other jumpsuits seen on the carpet that night. It had a high-neck, cold-shoulder approach with a white and silver belt, and the sleeves went right into a glove. The bottom half of the jumpsuit had a baggier fit, but still gave her a shape and made her look flawless. Travis Scott was definitely her accessory on the carpet.
Miley Cyrus also went with a pant suit look. She wore black trousers with an oversized fit, a blazer and deep V designed by Mugler. A very classic and trendy look with hair side swept and minimal accessories. The only bold part about her look were her heels, an M on the left and a C on the right. Miley performed alongside Shawn Mendes and both complemented each other.
Kelsea Ballerini looked like a golden fairy in her dress designed by Jenny Packham. It had gold tulle with jewel embellishments all over, cap sleeves and a high neck. Her hair was long and blonde with beachy waves and a bold red lip that stood out.
Everyone walking the red carpet looked so beautiful. There were definitely very exotic dresses that people wore and made a statement, but these ladies kept it classic and chic.
