Preview: Bonnies Women’s Basketball Looks to Snap Streak of 12 Straight Losses to Fordham

   The St. Bonaventure University women’s basketball team (12-6, 3-3 A-10) continues its best start to conference play in a decade when it visits Fordham University (8-9, 0-6 A-10) on Sunday at the Rose Hill Gymnasium in the Bronx, N.Y. 

   Winning 12 consecutive matchup over the Bonnies, Fordham leads the all-time series 25-24. 

   Coming off a 57-48 win over Saint Joseph’s University, the 3-3 conference record marks the Bonnies’ best start since the 2015-16 season, when they opened conference play 6-0 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. 

   Fordham enters the matchup on a five-game losing streak after a 74-50 loss to Davidson College. 

   Graduate guard Laycee Drake leads the Bonnies with 15.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game. 

   Junior guard Alexis Black leads the Rams with 19.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2.3 steals per game. 

   The game tips off at 2 p.m. and will air on ESPN+ and the Bonnies Online Network.
