Preview: Bonnies Women’s Basketball Looks to Stay Perfect Against Canisius

   The St. Bonaventure University women’s basketball team meets Little Three rival Canisius University for the 60th time Friday at 6 p.m. in the Reilly Center. 

   Bonaventure leads the all-time series 30-29. They hold a 19-8 record against Canisius at the Reilly Center, and head coach Jim Crowley owns a 13-2 record against the Golden Griffins. 

   Bonaventure enters the matchup 3-0 after a 68-65 road win over Binghamton University Tuesday. 

   Canisius enters the matchup 0-3 after a 96-72 road loss to Syracuse University. 

   Graduate guard Laycee Drake leads the Bonnies in scoring and ranks sixth in the Atlantic 10 with 18.3 points per game. 

   Junior forward Shariah Gailes leads the Golden Griffins in scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.3 and 6.3 per game respectively. 

   Admission is free, and the game will stream live on ESPN+ and will be broadcast on the Bonnies Online Network.
