St. Bonaventure’s women’s basketball opens its season with an exhibition game against Division II Daemen University at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Reilly Center.
Bonaventure enters the season without its top three scorers from last year. Guard Dani Haskell graduated, while guard Zoe Shaw transferred to University of California, Santa Barbara and forward Caitlin Frost transferred to Stony Brook University.
Notable transfer additions for the Bonnies include guard Aaliyah Parker, a graduate transfer who averaged 13.7 points over four seasons at Niagara University, and junior forward Brillana Boyd, who averaged 21.9 points last season at Long Beach City College.
Daemen’s key players include senior forward Claire Pikett and sophomore forward Ne’vaeh Buntley, who averaged 11.4 and 10.1 points per game last season respectively.
The game will tip off at 4:30 p.m., will be free to attend, and will be broadcast live on the Bonnies Online Network.
