St. Bonaventure’s golf team will compete in the Matthews Auto Intercollegiate, its fourth tournament of the season, on Sunday, Oct. 5 and Monday, Oct. 6 at the Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, New York.
Bonaventure returns to the two round 36-hole event hosted by Binghamton University for the fourth year in a row.
Last season, the Bonnies placed eighth out of 17 teams. Seniors Michael Bucko and Gabe Williams finished tied for 10th a year ago when they shot even par.
The Bonnies are coming off the heels of a last place finish at the Little Three Championship, on Sept. 24 in Youngstown, New York. Bonaventure was two shots off the winning score.
The tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday and will conclude on Monday afternoon.
