The women’s No. 1 doubles, consisting of junior Isabella Venter and sophomore Cirkeline Lundberg, were the only doubles team to secure points for the Bonnies, winning the first set 6-4.

Venter was also the only single to win on Friday, securing a two-set sweep of her opponent in the No. 1 singles match. Junior Tamara Bachmann narrowly lost her No. 4 singles match, going to a third set which ended 7-6.

On Sunday, Bonaventure hosted the Dayton Flyers for the second league meet of the season.

Both the men’s and women’s teams lost 4-0 to Dayton in a clean sweep for the Flyers.

Not a lot of tennis was finished on Sunday from time constraints, and only the No. 1 and No. 4 singles matches had a final score, while the No. 6 and No. 3 singles matches were walkovers for Dayton, and the rest were ruled unfinished from time constraints.

The women’s side had similar outcomes against the Flyers. The No. 1 doubles went unfinished, while the No. 2 doubles were a 6-4 win for Dayton, and the No. 3 doubles were ruled a walkover for the Flyers.
