Yesterday, St. Bonaventure University was closed due to the concerns brought on by the extreme weather conditions.

In a Notice Board sent out by the school, essential university personnel still reporting during the current polar vortex includes dining staff, maintenance employees and those who work in Safety & Security.

The Richter Center, Friedsam Memorial Library and several other buildings on campus are listed in the email as closed for the entire day.

The university also wished students to exercise caution in how they dress and how long they stay outdoors in these drastic temperatures.

The university resources that were shut down include the day’s tutoring and classes.

The Bona Venture wishes everyone safe travel in this winter storm.
