Liam McGurl, Editor-in-Chief

Liam is a first-year graduate student in St. Bonaventure’s Integrated-Marketing Communication program; he graduated last year with bachelor’s in journalism and mass communication. Liam is a Co-Editor-in-Chief of The BV. When he’s not at the paper, Liam enjoys working on photography and personal writing projects.

Emily Losito, Managing Editor

Emily is a senior journalism and mass communication major with a music minor. Emily is a Managing Editor of The BV and the President of the Campus Activities Board. As a Buffalo native, she loves all Buffalo sports teams and sponge candy. Emily loves dogs, proofreading, wine, chocolate and reading The Wall Street Journal.

Mary Kate Killen (M.K.), News Editor

M.K. is a senior journalism and mass communication major.  She is the News Editor and this is her second semester at The BV.  M.K. plans to stay at St. Bonaventure for graduate school.  Outside academics, M.K. spends most of her time working on SBU Theater productions or with The Laugh Pack, St. Bonaventure’s improv comedy club.

Leah McCluskey, News Assignment Editor

Leah is a freshman strategic communications major. This is semester is her debut experience with The Bona Venture. After graduation, Leah plans to build her brand and travel the world. She spends her time loving her cat, Wilson, and quoting Disney movies.

Kelly Haberstroth, Features Editor

Kelly is a junior journalism and mass communication and professional and creative writing double major. She is the features editor and this is her second semester at The BV. After graduation, she hopes to either work for a publishing house or write for a television show and finally finish writing her first book. An interesting fact about Kelly is that most people often disagree on what eye color and shade of blonde her hair is.

Jeremy Castro, Sports Assignment Editor

Jeremy is a freshman undecided arts major and this is his first semester as an editor. He was a contributing writer for the sports section in the most recent fall semester. Jeremy enjoys his responsibility on campus in leadership roles, including his position with the BV.
