The past should not become the outline of your future. However, it should highlight the process of change,

For it is obvious to understand your faults, to remove the bad from remaining the same.

In a world of confusion, only the truth seems dark,

But to grow and to mature you learn how to speak truth from the heart.

Reality is reality, no fakes and no reals,

The truth can hurt even the strongest people, but in due time, pain heals.

As for me, well I’ve been through hell and back,

I’ve faced a lot of pain and constantly felt as if my world was under attack.

I’ve cried and I’ve fought,

I’ve fought and I’ve cried,

I’ve broken into depression,

Saw broken dreams in my eyes.

I’ve questioned why me,

I’ve asked how could this be,

How could all of this be happening to little ol’ me?

But then you wake up and realize that it’s life and it goes on,

Through the pain and the hurt you eventually have to move on.

Life is worth the fights, worth the tears worth the strifes,

If you can pull through the pain you can soon see the light.
I am fully intent I am fully aware,

In my soul in my heart I know that happiness appears.

So I don’t mind the tears I don’t mind the lies,

Cause through it all I will survive,

And for those with faith, keep your head up and stay strong,

The devil loves your agony so prove him and all pessimism wrong.

Say I love you future and I despise you past,

For with hope and faith, positivity shall last.
