Tonight is the night we look forward to getting creative and dressing up as someone else. Or, in the case of those going as “basic girls,” maybe just going as yourself. Trick or treating may not be at the top of everyone’s to-do list, but you can be sure to see a lot of interesting things happen this weekend. First, let’s go over what you should definitely expect:
- Girls dressed as devils, cats or other small animals in which minimal face paint and tight, short clothing is involved.
- Couples being original and going as superhero pairs, celebrity couples etc., you get the idea.
- Encounters with characters such as Elmo, Winnie the Pooh or the Teletubbies in which they are acting not how you expected them to when you were a kid.
Now on to the less-likely-but-this-has-definitely-happened type of things to expect:
- Someone dressed as an Average Joe’s player popping out from behind Dev and tagging you out with his dodge ball.
- The Jamaican bobsled team making an appearance, cardboard bobsled and all.
- Being twerked on by Miley Cyrus…all 6 of them.
It’s going to be a great weekend of guessing what the man in the morph suit is trying to be and binging on all the candy that’s on sale the next morning. For those of you celebrating your first Halloween at Bonaventure, you’re in for a real treat because Bonnies do it best. I hope you all bring out your best costumes yet and as always, go Bona’s.
